Kathryn FletcherKATHY FLETCHER is of Counsel to LeGros Buchanan & Paul. Kathy represents maritime and non-maritime employers in all aspects of employment litigation including wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, accommodation, retaliation, breach of contract, and other related claims in the federal and state courts, at arbitration, mediation, and before administrative agencies. She advises clients on personnel policies and practices and provides in-house training on a variety of labor and employment related issues including anti-harassment and discrimination. Kathy has assisted clients subject to Executive Order 11246 in their development of Affirmative Action Plans as required by the Department of Labor. Her practice also includes maritime personal injury defense and insurance coverage disputes.
Kathy is a Washington native and graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 1992 with honors. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Washington in 1988. She is admitted to practice in the states of Washington (1992) and California (1996) the U.S. District Courts of the Western District of Washington, the Central, Northern and Southern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
