Trinity K. Hopkey

Trinity is an associate at Le Gros Buchanan & Paul, P.S., where her practice encompasses both civil litigation and transactional work. Her civil litigation practice focuses primarily on maritime personal injury defense, including claims arising under the Jones Act and general maritime law, as well as other commercial disputes. Her transactional practice includes work relating to corporate governance and other business dealings, such as formation and reorganization. She also focuses on employment and environmental matters.

Trinity completed her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa in 2020. In December 2024, she graduated with her Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School with a specialization in business law. During law school, she served as a student attorney in the Macomber Entrepreneurial & Transactional Law Clinic, dedicating hundreds of hours of pro bono service to regional small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Prior to law school, Trinity worked in communications, advising organizations on strategic messaging and reputational risk. She later gained experience in the insurance industry through an extended internship with the in-house legal department of an annuity and retirement services company while pursuing her law degree.

Trinity is admitted to practice in Washington and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Outside of her practice, Trinity enjoys the natural beauty, sports culture, and culinary scene of the Pacific Northwest.
