Neil Diemer joined LeGros Buchanan & Paul as an associate in October 2015. He has significant litigation experience, including personal injury jury trials in King County Superior Court. Neil’s practice currently focuses on litigating maritime personal injury, business, and employment disputes in state and federal courts throughout the Pacific Northwest. He also counsels individuals and businesses, both maritime and non-maritime, on a variety of legal matters such as corporate formation, contract negotiation, insurance coverage, and regulatory compliance.
A Seattle native, Neil obtained his undergraduate degree in Environmental Policy from Western Washington University in 2005. In 2011, he received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law. During law school, Neil interned with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office and for a United States Senator in Washington, D.C. Neil was also awarded the Sampson Fellowship in Comparative Public Interest Law, allowing him to spend a summer working on human rights law in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Neil is admitted to practice in Washington and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. He is also an active member of the Marine Insurance Association of Seattle, the Puget Sound Marine Claims Association, and the Seattle Propeller Club.
