Greg Porter joined LeGros Buchanan & Paul as an associate in 2018, after working as a contract attorney in Seattle following admission to the Washington State Bar in 2017. He has experience with personal injury litigation, U.S. and international shipping, ship repair contracts, asbestos litigation, insurance audits, class actions, and environmental land use regulations, and focuses his practice on maritime litigation. He has trial experience with maritime cases, and supports the firm’s litigation practice before state, federal, and tribal courts.
Greg attended the University of Washington School of Law. During law school, he served as a clerk with the Washington State Attorney General, and the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, D.C. He was also associate editor-in-chief for the Washington Journal of Environmental Law and Policy, and competed in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition. He now serves as the coach for the University of Washington School of Law Jessup team. Greg obtained his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Arizona.
Greg is admitted to practice in Washington State. He is a member of the King County Bar Association, and supports the University of Washington International Law Students Association.
